warm welcome but minor inconveniences
The hospitality provided by the staff truly made me feel appreciated, especially Monica’s attention to detail in accommodating dietary needs during breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant atmosphere to relax after a long day. I enjoyed the spacious family room with modern amenities, including a fabulous hot shower, which was perfect for the chilly weather. Breakfast offered a good selection, and the pastries were fresh and delightful, adding to the overall experience.
The parking situation was a bit tricky to navigate, which caused some delays.

The breakfast offered a great variety of choices, and it was served promptly without long waits, which I appreciated. The room had everything I needed, and it was mostly clean and comfortable, making it more than adequate for a quick getaway.
The property is on a main road, which means traffic noise can disrupt your sleep if you’re in a front-facing room. Parking is a hassle. the entrance is a narrow alleyway filled with potholes, and the exterior definitely needs some TLC with peeling paint and a crumbling wall. My room had some odd quirks, like separate keys for the bathroom and my room, which became a bit cumbersome. The bathroom lacked a mat for stepping out of the shower, making for a slippery situation, and the furnishings felt rather outdated, especially given the absence of basic amenities like shampoo. I found a hole in the floor by the bathroom, which seemed like an accident waiting to happen, and the general upkeep could use some improvement.

Stratford vibes 🌿✨
Wow, the brekkie was a proper lekker spread! Loved the pancakes—so fluffy, man. Monica was super chill and made sure I had my gluten-free fix sorted with tasty options. Quiet at night for solid sleep too. Even got a friendly cat visit. made it feel like home!
Just a heads up, the stairs to our room were a bit steep, but it didn’t bother us too much.

The only downside was the shower pressure, which could have been better during our stay.
